Baby sloth- Punta Uva, Costa Rica. The baby had fallen out of the tree and the gardeners found him. They were pushing him around in a wheelbarrow to keep him safe from a large boa constrictor that was roaming the premises. I’m not sure how, but the baby was eventually reunited with his mom… We saw them in a tree together a few days later. This was taken on a trip to Costa Rica. The waterfall was located deep in the forest and only reached after 2 hours trek. This natural light was stunning and the water itself incredibly invigorating, if not a bit cold! Playful Bay Headed Tanager taking a bath … Splish, splash I was takin a bath… These are 3 different shots taken while the little tanager kept bobbing up and down, in and out of the little puddle in the tip of the log. Of course, I had to take a lot of shots to get some that weren’t blurry … little rascal just wouldn’t stay still.
