“Tired of Waiting for You” was a hit 1965 rock song by the British Invasion band The Kinks. It reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #6 in the USA. It was recorded late August 1964 at Pye Studios (No. 2), London, with additional guitar overdub at IBC Studios, London in 29 December 1964, “Come On Now” was recorded 22 or 23 December, 1964 at Pye Studios (No. 2). American punk group Green Day, country music singer Dwight Yoakam and Suzi Quatro have covered the song. The Green Day version can be found on the soundtrack for Howard Stern’s 1997 film Private Parts and their album Shenanigans. The Dwight Yoakam version, is available on his album, Under the Covers. I have been MIA for awhile now trying to keep up with so much at the moment and failing terribly. Krisso will be here on Wed.! Work has been completely out of control the past couple weeks, which is a the biggest reason for my absence. I miss my RB buddies!! Please have a look at our Obama section below. We want to chronicle this significant event in history. But there was also a new minister appointed in South Korea and a new minister for defence in Turkmenistan. The Obama section is now updated and tidied.
Ethos:
We have two hosts who are diametrically opposed in their spiritual beliefs and who have become friends over a period of time in RB. The science Vs religion debate is raging around the world right now and we can’t solve it so we wanted to create a place where both sides can coexist through something common, a love of art. And to promote both science and religion without putting either down. Nobody is wrong here.
We’re for those who are passionate about their religion and their science, and this is not the place for debate between the two camps (or any camps)
We would like all art to have either the theme of religion or science but its not absolute, if you have something cool you’d like to show us all we’ll have it. We do like when people explain their work also.
And obviously anybody fucking around will be cautioned and/or booted out
and bad language is allowed, (its Irish custom) but no being nasty to anybody’s God or son of God or pantheon of Gods or whatever. Any inflammatory remarks concerning anybody’s passion or deeply held beliefs will not be tolerated.
