  • In The Beginning There Were Three by Stephen J. Vattimo

Medium Acrylic Year 2002 I painted this illustration to publicly proclaim The Biblical acount of a six literal day creation by the holy trinity, to be The true account of the origin of all thing that have been, are now, and will exist. I believe Evolution Theories have many wholes in them and lake sound evidences to declare Evolution as the true acount of origin of all matter. I believe school should teach both theories, / and let the student decide which is trueth for themselves. / The three figures of light that are holding the hour glass represent the trinity, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, Who together created all thing. The back ground of the paint is suppose to illustraight the trinity created all things from nothing. The hour glass is suppose is to appear to be made of pure gold. / representing a creation with out , corruption, and decay, which would latter be part of the curse the creation would be subjected to be cause of man’s sin. / The top and bottom base of the hour glass, has the icon of the moon and sun six time to represent the six days of creation. / The six spheres floating inside the hourglass represent the six literal day, and what was created on each day. The first day God separated the darkness from the light. This spheres is placed at the bottom of the hourglass because sand in a hourglass alway flows down. / The second Day God separated the sky from the sea, this is represented in the sphere located at the bottom right of the hourglass. / The third day God separated the land from the waters. Represented in the top half of the Sphere. The bottom part represent the plant life that was created on the same day. / The fourth day God creates outerspace, every star, and planet. God mentions The sun was created to light the earth by day, and the moon to light the earth by night. This is represented in the sphere located at the top midleof the hourglass. / The fifth Day God created the creatures of the air and the creatures of the water. This is represented in the sphere located in the top right of the hourglass. / The sixth day God created both the land creatures, and man. This sphere is located top left of the hourglass. • Sower And The Seed by Stephen J. Vattimo

medium acrylic Size 3 ft. x 4 ft. year 1997 this painting illustrates The Parable The Sower And The Seed, A teaching of Jesus’s , recorded in the book of Mattew, chapter 13. The 4 heart in the sky represent 4 different responses of those who hear the Gospel message. / Heart on the lower left , represent those who have heard The gospel but reject it. The devil then comes and takes it away from their hearts, this is illustrated by the crows flying away with the seed, that had fell on the road side. / The secound heart on the uper left side of the sky, represent those receive the gospel message with joy, but doesn’t take root in their faith, and their faith is temporal, falling away when trials or affliction come their way because of the gospel. This is illustrated by the grape vine that wither away in the heat of day, do to the lack of have a deep root system . / The heart that is on the uper right corner of the sky represents those who recieved the gospel, and believe, but the worry of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. this is illustrated by the grape vine being choked out by a purple flower baring Mornig Glory Vine. These vine produce pritty flowers by they are a organic farmers enemy, because they will ckoke out his crops. I learn this first hand in organic farming when i was a missionary for a couple of summers. / The heart in the lower right corner of the sky, represents those who hear, believe, are commited to living for the gospel, produce much fruit. This is illustrated by the heart with the health, strong, fruit baring grape vine. The tiled field represents the world that God has prepared to recieve the Gospel message. The sower are all christian that are commanded to go into the world and proclaim the gospel message. The seed being thrown by the sower represents the gospel message going out to the world. / The seed bang has written on it, ” The Word Seed Co. On it. written by Stephen J. Vattimo

  • Decision by Stephen J. Vattimo

Size 4’ x 5’ Painted on canvas Meadum acrylic painted 1995 / In this illustration i am trying to protray how active the spiritual world is in every day of our lives. How heaven and hell, these two kingdoms are battling it out to win our devotion. Even when A person chooses to become part of God’s family, the believer will still have to strugle with the forces of darkness as long as we live in these mortal bodies. / The room is suppose to look like it’s on fire. This is to represent the destiny of man, spending eternity in the lake of fire, if he refuses to be saved through God plan of salvation. the two people in this paint are the two leader of the two kingdoms. The Devil on the left, Jesus on the right. They are both standing at the door way that will lead to their kingdoms. They are both beckoning the veiwer to go through their door. In this painting i want the viewer to understand that spiritual battle take place with every decision we face. / When we come to a spit in the road our we going to choose the right road or the wrong road? What ever road you Choose will sooner or later reep the reward. The reward will either be destrution or blessing, the blessed think is we choose / I illustrated the devil in a beautiful purple robe with gold sequence , To show He is the king of the fallen angels. Purple in the Bible was worn by king and goveners and ruling authorities. The purple hood is to show that satan is a deceiver. He will take trueth and twisted into a lie , kind of the way a person will put pision mix in peanut butter to get rid of an unwanted mouse. / Most people don’t recongonize when the Devil is temping them, because the only veiw of Him they have is the movie the exersist. But He is more effective when He appears in the form of a used car saleman. / The gold belt He wears and the golded door way represent His tactict to side tract us with the love of tempral thimg such as the love of mony , fame, power. / If a person gain the whole world yet loose his soul what has he truely gained. / Illustrated jesus dressed in a golden Robe with a golden sash. This represent He is the High priest who offered the sacrifice that appeased the requirement to diliver man from the power of sin, and restore man back to fellowship with God The Father. The door way to heaven is made up of the cross that Jesus gave His life on. If you look at the painting closely you will see holes in Jesus hands and feet. You also can seen on the cross from the blood and the spike marks where jesus was nailed to the cross. / The devils door has endless darkness of Hell , where Jesus’s door has endless light of heaven. / The rocking chair was designer to represnt contemplation. Their are hearts with question marks in side them on the head rest as well the seat. I think of people sitting in their rocking chair when they have a big decision to make. So i think before we make decision, we should thing what will be the fruit down the road. If I plant thisile when it grows up it will hurt me . If i plant wheat, when it grows up it will feed me.

  • 216 - BUT MUMMY TOLD US TO SHARE - DAVE EDWARDS - COLOURED PENCILS - 2008 by BLYTHART

I felt inspired to do a teddy bear picture after realising how much of a part teddies played in my life. My parents bought me a teddy for my first Christmas (1950) and it survived until I grew up, then went to live on top of a wardrobe (Teddy, not me) in my parents’ bedroom. After they died I couldn’t find it, so my Dad must have binned it … what a way to go after 37 years of being part of the family :-( I have always liked Winnie the Pooh (the original Ernest Shepard drawings) and Paddington Bear and Garfield, etc. I was inspired to include the box of chocolates because a young woman I sometimes exchange Bubblemails with often mentions chocolates. I’m deliberately not saying who she is and then dozens of women will Bubblemail me saying, “Is it me? I like chocolate” :)) I am offering copies of this picture for sale as cards, so if you know anyone who loves teddy bears AND chocolate … roll up and buy one :))
