The bridge is there, the forest is calling her… But her life belongs to the lake. It always did. She met him in the lake. Now he’s gone, and the lake is no longer the same… She knows she can only cross that bridge once. The forest – unknown and scary – promises a new beginning. An opportunity. A challenge and an adventure. The lake offers the warmth of the familiar. And memories. Memories of a dream that can never, ever, be. Memories of a life that has changed forever. She was forever going to be his “Koi girl”... She knows she can only cross that bridge once. And the night is drawing nearer… And she’s torn… A visual collaboration with my good friend Shelly Hiebert, who graciously offered her picture of Koi Girl, for all of us to work with, for a challenge. The bridge picture is my own and so is the PP and the story. I hope that the real Koi girl likes it :-) [Sony a350, Sigma 10-20mm] .

They Watch From The Shadows by reflector

A collaboration with dinghysailor1. I gave Maggie a shortlist of interesting buildings and scenes that I thought would make some nice and atmospheric artworks. Maggie went out and very keenly scoured around her area in Scotland and took some excellent photographs of fantastic Architecture and scenery that you just can’t find in Australia ! Then I used two of the photos Maggie took to create this image in Photoshop Elements 7. A number of filter effects were applied to the numerous layers, some layers were tinted to make the colour scheme cohesive, and I imported the sky from one of my own photos and cropped out the foreground of that shot. Two or more RB members working together to create new art.

The purpose of this group is to encourage collaboration between RB photographers. For example one member takes the picture, the other adds Post-Processing effects; or two pictures from individual members, merged together. Of course collaboration between more than two members would also be great! Please use bmail (not the forums) to exchange emails and through that, original photos.

PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING:

Photos, Hand-drawn/painted or Digital art (visual collaborations) only please. No writing (words) or T-shirts. There are other groups for these. Journals are allowed (and encouraged!) only when they describe your collaboration project.
All collaborators must be RB members
You must acknowledge your collaborators by providing a link to their page too!
We would love to see the “before” and “after” of your work, but it’s not a pre-requisite..
Artistic nudes are allowed, but MUST have the “not suitable for work” flag on. No pornography.
Do not use images for your collaboration that do not belong to you – that’s plagiarism! If you use public domain components (e.g. textures) you need to say so in your description.

Just to be clear: Collaboration between a photographer and a model or someone helping you to hold up a reflector is NOT artistic collaboration. Neither is two photographers working together to take a single photo. We want to see work where all parties have added artistic input to the final artwork.
