My dad had been a Physical Education instructor ( graduate of Springfield College, USA) before he became a dentist. As a child, I was often his “assistant”, not due to my tremendous skill, but, most likely, to my slim, relatively light, frame. My brother, always smarter than I, looks on from the safety of the ground. / This photo was taken around 1965 at our family cottage at Kearney Lake, just outside Halifax, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, the cottage was sold and a developer has now put up very expensive homes on the land, so the photos are all we have to remember when I was preparing my act for Cirque de Soleil.
