A few things to consider before joining:
The Group
This is a group for women only – sorry guys … (Yes ladies, we’ve had men join our group!)
It is for photographs & photo-manipulations only.
We are NOT a flower, animal or landscape group.
Images are moderated in this group.
Please limit the addition of your work to 1 image per day
Please do not keep resubmitting work – that has already not been accepted into the group.
The Gallery
We’re defining our gallery on images that are in the styles of vintage, retro, modern, contemporary & fabulous…. in the form of the subject &/or post processing work.
Snapshots will not be accepted.
Please limit ANIMAL, FLOWER, NATURE & LANDSCAPE images as we will NOT accept them unless they have a very unique aesthetically creative perspective and post work applied – think pastel or vintage. – think pastel or vintage. If these image subjects do not comply to this – they will not be accepted.
There are MANY flower, animal (wildlife, domestic, bird) and nature groups on RB for these image subjects – so they will only be accepted into this group if they strictly comply with the group/image guidelines and at the hosts discretion.
Challenge Guidelines
We’d like our challenges to be fun and to inspire creativity for our members and to not feel like it’s a task for anyone. Challenge images are moderated – so if you could please keep these guidelines in mind when entering – it would be greatly appreciated. It would save us a lot of time if we don’t need to constantly contact members individually regarding their entered images or to remove entries.
All entries MUST be accepted into or already in the group to be eligible to enter into any challenge. Any image entries not in the group will be removed.
Please read ALL information provided with each challenge so there are no misunderstandings.
If an entered image doesn’t fit the challenge – it will be removed.
We will have ONE major challenge each month where a RB voucher is offered. We will need a minimum of 12 entries to keep these challenges open within their time frame. If there aren’t enough entries – it will be cancelled. On occasion we will also hold minor challenges to help inspire creativity and fun.
Gorgeous Girly
Confused over what ‘gorgeous girly’ is classified as? Gorgeous girly can be light, pastel & pretty in subject &/or post processing work OR dark, vintage & moody in either or both.
If in doubt, you can browse the gallery anytime to see what is already in the group and to get you started… here are some examples of girly in subject &/or post processing work and examples of pastel, vintage, retro, modern, contemporary & fabulous………..
