Britain's Coastline

The natural coastline of Britain (inc. Eire and Channel Islands) - not man-made!

Totally Natural Coast of Britain Challenge

This challenge closed 8 months ago.

The Challenge

Submit your image of the British coastline that is TOTALLY natural. This means ABSOLUTELY NO man-made structures, people, boats, quays, docks, bridges, sculptures etc. Just pure landscape. Also, no pure sunset/sunrises here – we want to see the actual landscape so there should be enough natural light in the image to discern features.

In addition, the image should have a balance between land, sea and sky and any image that doesn’t have all three will be excluded.

Judging / Voting Criteria

1. all natural landscape photographs only
2. no man-made objects, structures or people
3. must include some sky, land and sea
4. genuine BRITISH coastlines only (inc. Channel Islands, Isle of Man etc) and N. Ireland.
5. Enough natural light to discern features (NO pure sunsets/sunrises)

Rewards & Prizes

1. Kudos of winning!
2. Feature on front page of group.

Additional Information

Final decision will be mine alone what gets allowed. Voting will be down to everyone else. Must be a photograph – sorry no writings, clothing or paintings/sketches.
