Digital painting based on original ink on paper image.
This is an acrylic painting on canvas 100×70x4cms. I think this painting represents the colour and movement which you would see at an event like a carnival or parade. Please note: The original of this painting is for sale at www.lizmooregolding.com

Also available as a PRINT!
Designed using my digital art work in my ongoing music series.
BEST VIEWED LARGE to see details. A jazzy digital piece to add to my musical themed art series I’ve been working on for a week or so. Here’s how it looks printed on CANVAS…very large prints are available!
This is the last shot in my trumpet/musical series that I have done for a friend. I have loved doing these shots and loved the way they have turned out and it has inspired me to look beyond the usual portrait and landscape shots that I do and stretch my imagination further to things a little LESS done. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 with close up conversion lens / ISO 100, f/2.8, exposure 100, focal length 5mm
BEST VIEWED LARGE. :) One in my musical themed series I’ve been working on this past week. Inspired by the music in my life. I grew up in a musical family and get-togethers and/or holidays were often spent singing in the living room with various family members playing instruments. I’m sure the neighbors enjoyed it as well. :) Here’s how it looks matted & framed: / Also available printed on a T-shirt! What a great gift for the jazz fan! :)
I found the design of this early heraldry trumpet (also known as a Buisine) to be very visually appealing and decided to paint it. I tried to accentuate the banner part of the horn in the image. It was painted using 18th century reproduction watercolor paint and Noodler’s Brown Ink on Arches 140# paper. /
This is a painting of an old trumpet from the late 18th century. It is unusual in that it has pads and keys much like a saxophone would have. Obviously later variations of the horn moved to a valve system. It was painted using Noodler’s Brown ink and Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. /
Brass instruments are just magic, now capture a picture that sings
this passion.
This is for anyone looking for great images of brass instruments.
Any interpretation, angle, artistic perspective can only increase
how brass is depicted.
Add poetry, t-shirts, writings, calendars, greeting cards and push
those boundaries on how the brass sight and sound can be heard.
This is a group for art related to musical instruments, let’s see
what we can do with them.
We are all in here to have fun, to enjoy others work, and to show
our own work, so treat people as you want to be treated yourself.
