This digital image is based on one of the murals that Audra designed and painted for Sunnyvale Parent Preschool. The murals depict farm animal parents watching and playing with farm animal “preschoolers” in a farm setting. Here the calf is the artist and also the art as it paints a cow-spotted frame around it. This is a version using soft colors.

Photograph. Another pic of this lovely hereford cross heifer calf. She has great markings, a quiet temperament and strong build. Definitely a favourite of mine.
The cow on the right (without her head in a tub) is Strawberry Twist. She is one of our best Texas Longhorn Cows. She wins Grand Champion practically every time we show her. The other one…well that’s a different story. That young heifer is Lilly and she has her head stuck in something all the time! The tub was just her latest “accomplishment”. Rocking G Ranch, May, Texas.
Jitter, one of our Texas Longhorn cows, was looking in the door hoping we would have some cubes (commonly known as cow candy) handy to feed her. She doesn’t understand the concept of “eat the grass..you’re a cow!” Bless her sweet heart! Rocking G Ranch, May, Texas.

This was a beautiful fall day and we were checking the fence. I looked up and there was Regal Lady, watching us. She is a huge Texas Longhorn cow and most of the folks who come to visit are intimidated by her. I don’t worry too much about unwanted company when she’s around. But acutally, she’s a lamb.
