Just another day in paradise !…I guess wifey will have to drive on that particular occasion LOL :-)
A day in Carrickfergus ….. NI ….. (paradise)!
This is one of my favorite photos, this model was in full character at the opening night of a Shakespeare’s Mid Summers Night Dream themed Face and Body Painting Convention that I attended. Photo taken in Orlando Florida
I took possession of the keys for Studio 3 at the historic Scarab Club in downtown Detroit the other day. These wonderful artist studios are a rare commodity as tenants usually move in and retain them for years and years. Studio 3 was being leased by Jeanne Bieri who was the tenant for 5 years. Each studio has a loft, Shelby already has plans on what to do with that to make working and the occasion overnight more comfortable. The remaining portion of each studio boasts two story walls and large open widows to allow light to flood the space. Studio 3’s windows open up to a view of the College for Creative Studios and the Detroit Institute of Arts. The College for Creative Studies is where Shelby hopes to obtain her own art degree from so having Studio 3 right next door a place she can work and crash is a very cool thing. A short video to be uploaded soon showing off the space prior to moving anything in and I will toss a new one up after the dust has settled. While traditionally the artists studios have been used for the purpose of the visual arts I am hopeful that once it I will find the creative spirit to complete several book I started such as “Whiskey and Lace”, “outcasts of Conservatopia”, and “Her Name Was Ginger” to mention a few. Here is my open invitation to anyone visiting the Detroit area: Stop in a have a visit to not only my Studio but the Scarab Club as well, the history, the beams in the member lounge signed by the likes of Norman Rockwell and Diego Rivera and more are very cool. Who knows you may even decide to become a member and have some fun yourself.

I have posted a limited number of 28 signed prints measuring 16” x 20” on eBay. To list them all search for “limited set of signed prints” on eBay While I want to push as much business as I can through Red Bubble there is no way for folks to purchase signed prints. And considering my financial status will change mid December and I will truly become a starving artist I need to move as much as I can so if you find one you like they come matted and signed and the buy it now price is a mere $50.00
I just received a “BubbleWrap” with stats and as it states it lists my “all-time statistics”. Based on the numbers I was wondering if this was from two years ago? Comments = 8 – Reality, I have no idea I don’t keep track! / People Favoring my work = 0 – Reality, see above! / Art views = 110 – Reality 103,000 plus / T-shirt views = 14 – Reality, 2910 / Writing views 8,568 – Reality, 232 / Journal Views 12,220 – Reality, 989 / Total Views 124 – Reality is there is no where for me to see that but if you add up the above… I’m just thinking out loud here / Most Popular Work = Me (and when I clicked on the link it got me a “Now where did that page go, page”) – Reality is either “Window in Belgium b/w” or “Don’t piss me off” I understand getting new things done and errors in code but seriously folks, if your going to send emails out you should get at least one or two of the numbers right… seriously! And if this is not welcome in your group just don’t add it I don’t care about getting an email telling me “this does not fit our group guidelines” because if you are in this to make money then correct stats mean something! And I would like to point out I would have sent and email to who ever sent this but it was listed as “noreply”, I am not one to hang out in the discussion area so this was my only way of commenting on this, good or bad…
