Topic: Group News / Upcoming changes to what is accepted in Blur

From May 1st we’ve decided to make some changes. From that time onwards we’ll no longer be accepting photos of bugs, pets and flowers, or cute children images/portraits.

We realise that many of the photographs that fall within these categories which are submitted to the group are technically very well done, but we’ve decided to narrow our focus within the Blur group. I know there are many other groups which will accept such photography submissions.

Members with paintings, prints, other non-photography and non-digital media with these themes may still be submitted, though there is a strong possibility we will still reject your work.

Thanks for understanding, and we hope the may 1st deadline gives anyone affected plenty of time to find other groups or reconsider what they’ll submit here.
