Topic: Group News / Group rules Hello everyone, Once again the need has arisen to ask you all to adhere to the group rules. In particular providing a detailed explanation in regards to the photo is essential. For example “Blue Mountains” just isn’t enough. We want a good description of where the shot taken is and some detail about it where possible. Also the photo MUST be relevant to the mountains. We will not accept any self promotion, nor promotion of others, as the group is about the mountains. Please be advised that from now on any photos that do not adhere to the rules will be rejected totally and without explanation. Therefore we would appreciate your help by following these rules. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing more great shots of and about the mountains. Regards, Ben |

Topic: Group News / More detailed descriptions please Hi Guys and Gals, Just a reminder that your images must contain a description that describes the way in which the image relates to the Blue Mountains. Just stating “Sylvia falls” is not enough. Tell us a little about Sylvia falls. An image of a flower is not enough, it must be a native flower and must have a description with a name of the flower and where it was found. We want descriptions that describe what the viewer is seeing and inform them in the same process. We want the viewer to learn a little about the Blue Mountains from their experience viewing your images. Looking forward to seeing a lot of images with proper descriptions soon. Other than that, keep up the great work, your images are beautiful. Gayle Shaw |
