WILDLIFE of SOUTHERN AFRICA

About This Group

This group is dedicated to showcasing wildlife photography of mammals, birds, reptiles, frogs, insects, arachnids, invertebrates, trees, grasses, ferns, fungi and wild flowers indigenous to Southern Africa.

All photographs had to be taken within the borders of any of these Southern African countries NAMIBIA / BOTSWANA / SOUTH AFRICA / ZIMBABWE / ZAMBIA /
MOZAMBIQUE / SWAZILAND / LESOTHO

Photographs had to be taken in the wild such as in National Parks, Wildlife or Wilderness Reserves, or any other large Conservation Area where wildlife exists freely on Southern African soil (not in a zoo somewhere else in the world).

The more you know about the wildlife indigenous to Southern Africa, the more interesting it gets to watch them. And the more you watch them, the greater the desire to take that perfect shot!
