Side note: Some of the amenities at RedBubble are new to me so if I ask for help…. maybe one of you has an answer. :) Now, as for this particular thread: As I have reviewed 200+ pages of images in this group, I have come to a few conclusions and would like to bounce these your way. However, please keep in mind that what I’m about to share is in no way a judgment but rather gives me reason for concern, not only in the quality of some images but also what we are trying to sell. 1) Would you present images of your family or school to be purchased by the public at large? And are you expecting them to be purchased by the public at large? If you answered yes to either question in #1, has each member of your school (as an example), that appears in your photos and images, given you their express permission to sell their face on a card to anyone in the world? If you are posting these pictures for the people that are in them, to buy them, then please do not post them in the group. Comments? |

CARD SIZING
0 topics, 0 posts
When creating a card, I thought the following would be helpful as I’ve noticed some images that don’t fit the RB card size exactly. Here is what I do and I hope it will be helpful to you. 2560×1920 will get you: a nice card 1350×1012 dpi set at 300 for all images / art will give you VERY good print. These measurements work well when creating from scratch in PaintShop Pro, Photoshop; rendering settings in 3D. Be careful when cropping photographs, should you. Sometimes a crop doesn’t give you the same results as the original untainted photo. Too much manipulation can also decrease dpi and produce bad print. Might look good on your monitor but that’s about it. |
