I love cherry tomatoes especially when on the vine and all lovely and red and sweet and tender to eat…....another summer has ended as these are the last off the bunch! For a lovely warm salad with a BBQ take the fine tomatoes and cook in the oven (or on the BBQ) cook until soft slightly roasted but still juicy. Add some Basil leaves and then Feta Cheese, drizzle with Olive Oil! Simple but delicious Featured in Berries, Fruits & Seeds 13th November ‘09 / Featured in Recipes 5th June ‘09
We’ve been supplied this year in veggies from a friend’s country garden. Oh, I found out just how good this tomato was when I finally got to cut into it!
Tomatoes from my garden
Very Fruity Tomatoes / Still Life captured at home. These tomatoes were grown in our garden, one variety is cherry tomatoes, and the other, well who know??? Ha Ha. It’s turned out quite weird. This was the frist tomatoe to ripen from the bigger variety. Camera Nikon D700 with 70-300mm Lense. / Available Light, ISO 200, 1 sec at f/25.
Will they get the chance to be red before someone picks and fries them up?
.... in my sisters garden… they were sooo beautiful … AND tasty! :D North Holland, the Netherlands Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera and Pentax-M zoom1:2.84 4080mm lens / Post-edited in Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (crop, sharpening and levels only) Comments and feed-back always welcome. Acrylic on Canvas, 18×18
This is a very colorful painting of apples on canvas with acrylics, watercolors and pastels and even some sharpies markers. I prepared the canvas with a mix of gesso and pumice to have a rough texture that would work with the pastels

A dandelion seed head blowing in the wind. The card can be personalised with any greeting.
Pyracantha berries with selective focus taken with my nifty fifty lens. My own texture added with a low opacity.
Lemons are probably the most versatile fruits in my opinion. What other fruit can make a meringue zing, a gin and tonic bite and end up on the same plate as squid?

We welcome photos of berries, fruits, seeds and even nuts, in all medium, including clothing and writing. We think photos of berries, fruits, seeds and nuts from all over the world, will make a delightful group on Redbubble, not to mention a colorful one.
Digital art is welcome, drawings, clothing and of course your best photographs and writing.
Research has told me that anything that contains a seed is considered a fruit: These include Pumpkins, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Squash, Peppers, Peas in a Pod, etc.
Photos we will not accept are: Mushrooms, Garlic, Onions, or anything that is a bulb.
We also will not accept photos that have a small berry, one piece of fruit in a large setting including another object that overwhelms the fruit, or a far off branch showing a few berries that are unidentifiable. We have been very lax with the rules since the beginning and a lot more of this kind of photos are coming in. So please, no more of that.
