Tree frog, on the windows at night make the windows come alive. In the rainstorm this little one was tip toeing around the glass..
I snapped this on the sidewalk in front of the Butterfly House at Cypress Gardens in Dorchester County near Moncks Corner in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Canon Digital Rebel, available rainy-overcast afternoon daylight. I applied 33 percent of an imagemap filter in Photoshop to improve the snap.
It is said the this plant commemorates the confederate solders. STAGE ONE: It blooms in the Fall a brilliant white, representing the new solders. / STAGE TWO:The next two days it turns blush pink representing the beginning of blood shed during the civil war. / STAGE THREE:Then finally it turns deep red and falls off, which represents the dying solders. I’m waiting for a deep red one to include.

I took this photo 20 years ago at Hunting Island State Park, South Carolina, using an Olympus OM-1 film camera. This particular fence is now gone, washed away by the tides. I used a filter (coffee colored) and added the paintbrush filter in PhotoShop. I always loved the shrimpboat in the background that was heading out for the day’s catch.
