This image of my friend’s two week old little boy kind of reminded me of the poses you see in sonograms. I am amazed of the perfection of that little hand.
The 2nd of three images of this gorgeous little person. She just had such an expressive face and combined with that late afternoon light it was just such a joy to be there and to camera in hand. Again these shots are taken from the back seat of there car which meant limited angles but also made for some unique shots. The purity and spontaneity that can be found in children is so amazing and we need to do all we can to keep it alive in them and in ourselves. Nikon D90 and 50mm 1.8 lens (This little treasure is the daughter of a friend of mine, who i only got to meet for the first time last week)
Canon XTi -Featured in the “strictly human faces” group. ~ October 2009. Thank you!

This is a fantastic peice of public art hidden in a back street in Wigan, north west UK. The local council are well known for behavig in a way that is completely detrimental to the locale and its inhabitants, strange individuals indeed??? / I am curretly local and only came accross this peice by total accident a full two and a half years after it was erected, (obviously in secret,) i have talked about this “statue” to around twenty locals, NONE of them even knew of it’s existance, absolutely unreal!!!
Grandson no1 – Engrossed in Drama teacher’s instruction! This was shot under bad light and high ISO, rather than try to hide the “grain/noise” I’ve stylised it to accentuate but keep the mood. Canon EOS 40D / Shooting Mode Program AE / Shutter Speed 1/80 / Aperture Value 2.8 / Metering Mode Spot Metering / ISO Speed 800 / Lens EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM / Focal Length 100.0 mm
