Grindhouse Group and EMI’s latest Venture! A collaboration with Rouble Rust, who provided the great illustration to accompany the banner treatment. Filled with information on our Redbubble group, featured artists work and information regarding art inspired by the so called Grindhouses, the theaters that mainly showed exploitation films and its sub genres, such as blaxploitation, sexploitation, zombie films, biker films, shockumentaries, splatter, spaghetti westerns, giallos, kung fu/ninja films, nazisploitation etc. / This Revue and Group tend to be RB’s 42nd Street, a kind of a modern times’ Sleazoid Express, in a nostalgic attempt to bring back the Grindhouse heyday. Violent nonsense, bloody gore, bizarre plot points and other taboo content fans rejoice…the Grindhouse a Gogo Revue is for you! It’s a major step in promoting you, the artist, aiming on supporting and getting the great artists of our group into more exposure. This was all created in Photo Shop all the work is mine. The tiger was created by a free brush designer and I used it , I believe it is a vector creation first two painting shown created using vector tool and painted in Photo Shop, the rest are all PS air brush paintings then resized and placed using layers. More banners I created: / these are group “feature” banners I did. I set them all in one place because these simple art works are images put together with cut and paste, filters, and photobucket effects, most of the images used I do not own, they are quick fix art just for fun. However, I did want to show them in the new group “Beautiful Banners” but did not want them as part of my regular portfolio, thus here they be! / I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.
