Just Portraits: Self or Otherwise
This challenge is for portraits – whether of yourself, or someone else. In keeping with the word, this means an image of a single face, not a crowd; and the face must “be” the image, not an after-thought placed into the background.
Subjects can be famous – infamous – or, complete unknowns but all entries must depict a real person, somewhere – somewhen.
Also, this is Back in Black… so portraits must be dark, not colorful. No gray sketches please, with lots of white. Black should be the main ingredient, although a touch or two of color here and there is fine.
Themes can be dark — or you can keep it light in mood – but again, your entries should be done primarily in Black.
For this one, “it’s all about the face!”
Choose your faves! Base your votes on creative merit – artistic expertise – and how well the image fits the group and challenge theme.
As always, No Soliciting of Votes. Any member caught padding the ballot box either via Bubblemail, Facebook, or any other venue, WILL have their work removed and also be deleted from the group. It may sound harsh but soliciting for votes is FRAUD, especially when monetary prizes are involved. So play fair!
VOTES are IMPORTANT! If you enter, please participate!
The winner will receive a $20 voucher from the Bubble (providing the image has at least 5 votes) – as well as a banner and be show-cased on our Group Home Page
In the event of a tie for 1st Place, all winners will be honored in accord with Bubble policy.
Runners up also get a banner and a mention, if the entries get at least 3 votes. (If we have more than 25 entries this will be the Top 10. If less, we will recognize the Top 5.)
~ BONUS – BONUS – BONUS! ~
If the winning image in this challenge is in horizontal format, it will be our newest avatar! If it’s vertical, we will use it as a banner (verticals don’t work for avatars).
Work must be accepted in the group to qualify. Be sure your work adheres to the focus of the challenge and the rules of the group; all entries deemed otherwise will be removed at the discretion of the hosts.
