At Amber Fort, Jaipur I witnessed the shooting of a Brazilian soap opera showcasing Indian culture. Caminoho das Indias meaning ‘A Passage to India’ is about a love story between a dalit boy and an upper caste girl. I am not sure whether I saw the main actors or not, there were so many of them all dressed in Indian traditional dresses. I was focusing more on the colorful elephants. 30+ elephants; all dressed and colored going round in circles and making other formations! The painting of the tiger on the trunk chasing a deer (and I was chasing the elephant from a distance to get a decent shot). Shot with Canon DSLR / As is. / Lens EF-S55-250mm 107 views as on 21 Nov. 09.

I took this photo in a small village in the south of India. This guy was relaxing on the corner of a street. I decided to play with depth of field to get an interesting shot of him. I was very happy with the result! Gear: Nikon D3 & 24-70 2.8 / Settings: 1/320 – F/2.8 – 58MM – ISO 320 / Processed in Lightroom
The quote by Emily Dickinson made sense to me first time when I saw sunrise like this ! this shot is SOOC . This location is a classic example of how a single location can be used for different kind of sunrise shots.. All 3 days I stayed at Udaipur i woke up to catch the sunrise and boy oh boy each day it was a exercise to come up with new idea to shoot, And it was not that difficult with nature doing its thing.. And on 3rd day i was shocked when i saw this sight which …. surprisingly i never noticed in past 2 days of shoot I never looked down at the city , was always stuck with the sun the cloud the birds and mountain. But on 3rd day i look down at city and i see this sight of layers unfolding with the sunrise. and for a while I just lost all sense of time and place .. and just stood there going WOW OMG WOW !! /

In India, our culture believes that there are many universes like ours as we see today, and each is governed by Lord Vishnu. There are as many Lord Vishnu as universes originated from the MAHAVISHNU representing the Brahmañ who is silently takes part in the divine play of creation – Lila. I spotted this water lily in my recent photo shoot. This time the rain had blessed me to make this theme happen :) The tiny water droplets make me recall multi verses and the enlightened water lily the Brahmañ here. Reposted after noise reduction ( 02.01.2009 ) Equipment Canon EOS 400D & Canon EF 70-300 mm lens @ 300 mm. HDR Generated work. 3 single exposure images merged. processed in CS3.

Hi, all my present and future friends on RB! / I just wanted to announce that from November 1st to the end of the year, everybody who purchases any of my work in any form, will take part in a lottery. / At the end of the period I will put all the names into my deep hat and then get a little bubblehex girl, who cannot yet read, choose one to be the lucky winner of the hereunder T-Shirt. You may wear it as a pyjama, or even give it away if you don’t like it … it’s ok for me :))) / And best of all: consider if I have not a big response to this journal, you might be the only buyer and be sure to win the Tee! Your probability to win have never been better :) LOL /
