Pastel & pastel pencils on Grey Canson paper / 40cm x 60cm 2009 / Commission – SOLD The latest commission I have been working on for a client. Trinket was a famous showjumping pinto mare, only 14.2 hh with an incredible talent for clearing the jumps & over 6 foot. I believe she was never / beaten in her career, defeating horses who had also competed at the Olympics back then. This painting was created from an old B & W photo, taken in the late 1950s of Trinket’s 2nd time out at the Wingham showground, which she won.
