This is another version of my previous ‘Locked In An Embrace’ painting which was inspired by Valentine’s Day. The concept was rethought and input provided by members of the Contemporary Water Media Forum. I redid the piece and incorporated their ideas in order to achieve a better composition. It is painted with Rublev 18th century watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. I love the texture this combination of paint and paper achieves. 10th Place Finisher in Padlocks challenge. / Featured in Art of the Mundane group in October 2009. /
