I don’t know if anyone is interested, but I thought it might be interesting to do some artwork around China, the Olympics, its woeful human rights record, its illegal invasion and violent suppression of protesters in Tibet etc. etc.

hi greg… the reason that I wasn’t allowing it originally was that I didn’t feel there was enough information in there to tell us what it was about… I wasn’t aware of what the site was and from an educational perspective I needed more information to accept it as a journal… a little sentence about the content and nature of the site would have helped, as you have written above… I have now allowed the journal as I am more aware of the content… I am stretching myself very thin because I believe that the Art Action Union can become a not-for-profit group with more potential than just a redbubble art gallery (as important as it is)... so I apologise if I wasn’t communicating as well as expected…

but once again… if it’s rejected it’s not necessarily because it’s not relevant, but rather because we could use more detail… I simply cannot take the research angle and research every site etc… the best thing to do is assume that everyone knows nothing about what you are talking about and expand a little more, activists are all over the place, but they cannot possibly know everything about every issue.
