Tunga/Zuga village. kebbe State. Nigeria. I just came across this child, early in the Morning. I lived 1 week in the village, as I do in most villages. So Much disease and poverty. No clean water, very little food, and almost all the children cannot attend school, as they cannot afford school fees, uniform, and text books. Chronic Malnutrition, River blindness, Intestinal worn infection plus Rickets is rampant here. Yet The Philadelphia Mission is making a positive change, thanks to precious friends here on RB. We really do need you to purchase art, or make a donation to help us help many more children in great need. Please view this macro bark art photo in the / large format to appreciate the imagery. / This is a festive scene, thus the title carnival. / The two figures on the right appear to be / engaging in conversation. He is wearing an orange costume and a long pointed hat. She is also in orange,a sensual woman with a sweet smile who may be the host of the party. There also is an intriguing woman on the left holding an object in the form of a V and a woman left of center who appears to be surrounded by scattered jewels. This is different in character than grandma’s tea party (previous photo), an / all adult affair without tea as the chosen / beverage. The hostess is very generous and / has set up a martini and tequila bar. She is / drinking a dirty martini (olives and a hint of / vermouth). The guests attending are talking / about their new discoveries and activities from / the various intergalatic locations where they live. Some of the guests are from the planets I discovered with my hubble telescope to investigate alien life. I have not observed one / individual that resides on Earth which these peaceful aliens believe is too dangerous to inhabit. These fascinating and fun-loving creatures meet at various alien environments and have great respect for each other’s differing life / styles and believe it is unthinkable to invade / another’s territory for purposes of greed, power and possession. They gather to celebrate their / peaceful lives and form new alliances to / learn what can to advance their civilization, / especially medical research. I was watching a show about the “Global Financial Crisis”, that the recession has hit countries all around the world. People have lived on credit for far too long and it is catching up on all of us. We are all in debt one way or another and it is time to pay up. I was inspired to write a piece about it.
