Taken in a gypsy settlement near Kachirapalayam. India. / There is a special reason why this mother shows so much love to her child. This little girl is the only surviving child of 4. Due to the effects of poverty, sickness and Malnutrition, her other three children have passed away. There are 40,000000 gypsies in India, and are treated as Low caste. This mother and child are from the NARI-KOV-AVARS Gypsy tribe. Treated as outcasts, they are denied even the basics in life. My Heart goes out to them, and as long as God gives me breath and his anointing, I will continue to reach the poor and outcast with his Love and Salvation. But also to share their sufferings and struggles. I hope to have many join me in this great work, to make a real difference in the lives of these forsaken and mistreated people. + ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, AND DONATIONS MADE VIA THE PHILADELPHIA MISSION CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THOSE IN EXTREME POVERTY AND OUTCAST, IN REMOTE AND RURAL AFRICA AND INDIA+. I had time to be a little more exact for this shot. I’d moved the new imago to a twig so he could inflate his wings and work on his proboscis. If this process is interrupted, he will starve. / I’ve used my close up lens and deliberately focused on the proboscis to show the tiny “hooks” which join the two parts of the proboscis together to make the tube through which he will feed. It’s sort of like velcro and if you view large, you should be able to see a few of the tiny hooks. / He’s now back in the box to gain strength ready for his entry into the world tomorrow. / 250609 / Sony H50 close uplens, tightcrop g- photofilter flash / 250609 This sky where we live / Is no place to lose your wings. / So love, love, love. / Hafiz حافظ “Of one Essence is the human race, / thus has Creation put the base; / One Limb impacted is sufficient / For all Others to feel the Mace ” / —Saadi (1184–1283) Human beings are members of a whole, / In creation of one essence and soul. / If one member is afflicted with pain, / Other members uneasy will remain. / If you have no sympathy for human pain, / The name of human you cannot retain. / Saadi Butterfly raised in my York Home All profits from my sales will be donated to Butterfly Conservation. Squirrel Gliders are just so cute – who needs to know anything scientific about them when something is this cute? Photo taken at the Bat Reach Centre – Kuranda – it’s sort of the Betty Ford Clinic for bats (marsupials and other mammals too apparently). All proceeds from the sale of this photo will go back to the centre. Unfortunately they don’t have a set website, but apparently two people are promoting it on the web. But the lady who runs the centre doesn’t seem to fussed on the internet. The centre is kept open only by our donations and even then it must scrape by. If you’re ever in Kuranda – please visit – it’s so educational and very much worth it. The animals are cuter than cute (and bats are far smarter than dogs). They’re located next to the fire station on the start of the Jum Rum Creek walk. Notes: Added to the group Birds and Creatures of Flight – Squirrel Gliders can ‘glide’ up to 15m from tree to tree! These guys are young orphaned gliders – and will be released into the wild when they’re old enough – they don’t tend to adapt well to humans as they get older. Which is an advantage to them. Absolutely untouched photo – not even entered into photoshop – straight from the camera straight to your internet so that the cuteness is retained only. Olympus E30 camera, Sigma 105mm Macro.

Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village, remote kebbe State. Nigeria. My passion in life is to bless the poor by sharing some of what God has blessed me with. [AS IS] This is a very special moment in this gypsy mothers life. Her precious child a boy died during childbirth. Now just 8 days old, her daugher is a very health baby. Her husband her and baby have no where to live. They sleep on the side pavement and its there they both make bead necklaces and bracelets to sell to anyone who will buy. often beaten adn chased by others, they have like all gypsies felt much pain. This is a very special moment for mum, as she looks at her little bundle of joy. I was very special to me as she handed me her daughter and asked me to pray to God for her child. What a privilege. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION OF THIS SCENE. Inside a gypsy camp near Chennai, India. I was making notes on the people and conditions within the camp, and I noticed this little girl showing great attention to what I was doing with the pencil and paper. I knew that all the children within this particular camp never went to school. These people are in extreme poverty and school fess take a second place, to using whatever little money they can earn from making necklaces and bracelets to feed their families. I later gestured to her if she would like some paper and a pencil. She came running to me and I give her a pad and Pencil. She was soon surrounded by others, as she scribbled and made what was to her a very nice drawing. It was just a few squiggly lines and marks to me. / later that evening as I was resting the little girl came to my memory, and the Lord spoke to me very clearly. He said ” DID YOU SEE THE JOY AND HAPPINESS IN HER FACE AS SHE TOOK THE PENCIL AND MADE HER MARKS ON PAPER? DID YOU SEE WHAT I SAW TREVOR? TO YOU IT WAS JUST A FEW LINES AND LOOKED LIKE A MESS, BUT TO ME i LOOKED INSIDE HER HEART AND FELT HER JOY. I SEEN HER SMILE AND EXPRESS A MOMENT OF SHEER HAPPINESS, WHICH IS SOMETHING NOT OFTEN SEEN, EVEN BY ME IN THE HEARTS OF THESE MY CHILDREN”. The Lord showed me just how much simple things can bring so much Joy to people. She never went to school, and could not read or write. Yet in her mind what she had created in her drawing was something she never had the opportunity to do before. God saw the beauty in her heart and to him he saw more than just a few squiggles on paper, Please help us to give these children the joy of sitting in a classroom and learning new things. To give them the tools and opportunity to be what God wants them to be Successful, Educated and equipped to face a future with skills and confidence. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. [AS IS} Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. I now have sponsored Abijeet and for only £10 per month, she is fed, clothed and will attend a full education when she is old enough. I do not get financial funding from any Church, My own income is little. But I made my mind up a long time ago to share what God has blessed me with with the poor. I have not gone hungry, nor my family. I rent my home, and drive a car. My children are all educated and blessed by God. I have lacked nothing, because blesses the sower. Gods burning Love and Passion for the outcast and poor burns deep within my heart, and hopefully can be seen throgh my life and camera lens. Abijeet is a shining star and a true testimony of what Love and sharing can do. Please Pray for me, that I can bless many more suffering children like Abijeet. Strengthen my arm in Gods mission to reach the hurting of this world with his love and care. Pray and do what the Lord lays on your heart. You will become richer for it.
