About This Group

Historical shows, displays and re-enactments abound, and every one is a fantastic source of photographs. From the Ancient World until the recent past, reenactment groups exist which enable us to see snapshots of history, presented by knowledgeable enthusiasts who have researched their speciality until they get it just right. This group is for those who manage to capture the atmosphere of those reanactments, whose photos could easily be mistaken for period shots – if the technology had existed. We concentrate more on the human – there are other groups for vehicles, for example – and aim to give members a place to display their best slices of history.
