The Challenge

As the winners of the last Challenge, Russ and Linda have chosen “Christmas in Arizona” as the next theme.

We are looking for the BEST and most creative representation of Christmas in Arizona. What does that mean to you? What do you think it means to others? Show us your own unique interpretation of an Arizonan Christmas; the Spirit of the Season southwestern style!!

And to help you all out, we just had one heck of a winter storm blow through the State a few days ago, so I know that there is a bunch of snow out there right now!

Judging / Voting Criteria

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE VOTING CRITERIA!

Since this Group and Challenge theme is about both Christmas and Arizona, all images must have a strong showing of both elements in the photograph. Just a pretty picture of a Christmas tree doesn’t represent Arizona. We are looking for photographs like a Saguaro decorated in the front yard, or a Quail running through the snow past a cactus, or a Christmas tree ornament of a rattlesnake wearing a Santa hat, or a beautiful wintery white desert landscape, etc. Get the idea? Use your imagination. Get creative! Show off your southwestern Spirit of the Season! Just remember that your photographic entry MUST be representative of both Challenge elements, Christmas AND Arizona or it will be subject to removal from the Challenge.

Vote for the photograph you like the most that fits the Challenge criteria, and represents the group the best.

Rewards & Prizes

For the first time, and in the spirit of the holiday season, a $20.00 (USD) Redbubble voucher for the Challenge winner!

The winning image will become the group avatar, be featured on the group’s overview page, and have the honor of a first place win!

That image’s artist will also get the option to choose the theme for next month’s avatar challenge, and become one of the Group’s Featured Members.
