Congratulations goes to Koo2p7 on a wonderful art work called
Smile

Here is her story,
The earliest memory I have of beginning to draw was me sat at the kitchen table moaning to my mum that I was bored ( I must have been 9 or 10) and she told me to draw “something” so I did and I’ve never stopped! That was 20 years ago.
I try to draw my animals and people as realistically as possible, the highest compliment I could receive is that “it looks like a photo! ” then I know I’ve done alright.
Living in small seaside town in the southwest of England (with my hubby and 2 cats- no kids yet!) I don’t get to photograph many tigers etc so I usually source my animals from a website similar to redbubble in the way that the photographer gets paid a percentage for every purchase of their picture and I have purchased the rights to draw it without having to worry about copyright infringement. I always try to pick animals that have a bit of character and look like they will be fun to draw.
Until recently I have only drawn with graphite pencils but now I’ve decided to try drawing in colour so any tips or tricks you would like to share would be great!
My main goal is to eventually become a professional artist or to be noticed by that one person that can make it happen, but along with thousands of others that share my dream I know that it’s just not that easy!
Enjoy =)
