About This Group

We’d love to see your best captures of the amazing wildlife of Canada. You must say where the photo was taken and, if necessary, what breed of animal it is.

Some animals which are indigenous and/or native to Canada are wolves, raccoons, beavers, deer, moose, caribou, bears( black bear, grizzly bear, brown bear, polar), geese, swans, loons, elk, coyotes, skunks, cougars and fox and many other different types of waterfowl, mammals, fish and birds due to the amount of undeveloped land and thick forests remaining in this country.

Canada is rapidly developing and is decreasing in habitat for our wildlife. This group is to encapsulate forever the beauty of these animals.
If an animal that you’ve spotted in the wild is endangered, please include this in your description as well as where you spotted it. This may help to maintain its preservation.

Our good friend, Mike Oxley, passed away on January 18, 2012
