This is Bella, she is a very special dog who has had a crazy first year of life….At 9 weeks old Bella and her owners were out for a walk, they were approached by a person walking 2 rotti x’s the lady proceeded to yell from a distance that her dogs were friendly about at the same moment they broke out of her grip, they attacked Bella as well as one of her owners who was trying to protect there 10yr old daughter. Bella ended up with a Punctured lung, and many more bites all over her tiny 9 week old body, it was unclear if she would survive…Well she did they say she will live a normal puppy life but very scary and thousands of dollars in vet bills later….about 5 months later, Bella’s owners were away and had gotten some friends to puppy sit….the friends took Bella Camping and suddenly Bella was very ill, vomiting and seizing they rushed her to the vet and after a very hairy 24hrs of seizing and such they stabilized her, they figure she got into the crab bait and had sever salmonella poisoning….now almost a year old bella is healthy and happy with only minor side effects caused by her past….. Little-known facts about Pit Bulls: Quoted from Pit Bull Fact vs. Legend Pit Bulls serve as therapy/service dogs. The Chako Rescue Association has Pit Bull therapy dogs in Texas, Utah and California. Helen Keller even had a Pit Bull as her canine companion and helper. Cheyenne and Dakota are a team of hard-working Search-and-Rescue Pit Bulls in Sacramento, California. They play an important role in their community by locating missing people in conjunction with the local Sheriff. In their off-duty hours, they do charity work as therapy dogs. Petey, the faithful dog on the TV show, The Little Rascals, was a Pit Bull. He spent countless hours with children day after day and never hurt anyone. He was one of the most intelligent Hollywood dogs of all time. There are quite a few celebrities who have Pit Bulls as members of their family including: Rosie Perez, The Crocodile Hunter, Judd Nelson, Usher, Alicia Silverstone, Cassandra Creech, Sinbad, John Stuart, Amy Jo Johnson, Linda Blair, Vin Diesel, and Bernadette Peters. Pit Bulls are heroes! America’s first war dog was a Pit Bull named Stubby. He earned several medals during World War I and was honored at the White House. The Ken-L-Ration dog hero of 1993 was a Pit Bull named Weela. She saved 30 people, 29 dogs, 13 horses and a cat during a flood in Southern California. A Pit Bull named Bogart saved a four-year-old child from drowning in a swimming pool in Florida. Dixie, the Pit Bull, was inducted into the Georgia Animal Hall of Fame after she saved some children from a Cottonmouth snake. Pit Bulls are one of the most stable people-friendly dogs in existence. The National Canine Temperament Testing Association tested 122 breeds, and Pit Bulls placed the 4th highest with a 95% passing rate! I had to pick the stubborn little thing up, which only fueled her fire. She’s very aware of her superior position in the house, and she owns Daddy. Sometimes life doesn’t go the way you want it to, even if you’re a spoiled-rotten cat! The Rolling Stones put out the song YOU CAN’T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT. . . STONES. / Or from the original vinyl Rescued: Molly went from being a starving little mother-to-be on the street to having her own house, bed (once ours), and her very own daddy (she thinks). While she likes me somewhat too, she’s daddy’s girl. / She didn’t want to move off Daddy’s feet, so I had to help. I might add, but it’s obvious, that she’s gotten a bit plump since she moved in here. Any Tabby with brown hair behind its ears is a brown tabby. On this bedspread, the brown in her coat really stands out! Normally she looks kind of raccoony grey.
