Oil on stretched canvas 900×1300 mm Top 10 in a Challenge in the Group SA Rainbow Nation Dedicated to Roney, who lived with his little brother on the streets in São Paulo and was tragically murdered in 2008 at the age of 12. Their lives have been pretty much guided by fate and fortune, like most other kids on the streets of the big cities in the world. An unstable childhood due to their mother’s alcoholism, has led them to end up on the streets full-time. It is unacceptable that 21st century children are still at risk on the streets. Carf Brazil, was established by Gregory J. Smith in São Paulo in 1993, to benefit the street children of Brazil by defending their rights and offering them a dignified solution so that they could live and grow within a family-oriented context and healthy social environment. As Grerory quotes, Albert Einstein said: _The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. Sales from this painting will be donated to CARF who assists in the rehabilitation of street children in Diadema, São Paulo, Brazil. Read this poem Golden Boy written by Rhenastarr, who was inspired by this painting.
oil on canvas / super fast painting. I would like to consider this more on the abstract expressionism side. I usually paint with more detail and so may I’ll go back at a later time when it drys and add some more depth. myspace.com/artistmind

Imaginary reality in bite slices…here’s this train to Spain, and France, and Alps, and Melbourne
Written first on the seventh day of September, 2009, with the clear purpose of further confusing the left side of the brain. Confucius was quoted here for the first time on the 7th of September to have said: / Confusion is good when it leads to nowhere… but heart. Now, for those who reached this point of my writing, here’s a bit of musical reward for the pain of reading all above. / Oh Carlos, your heart is on your sleeve and the sleeve rubs so beautifully against my heart. / Imaginary reality in bite slices —-
Please note that this is not intended as a criticism of the medical profession, but rather an observation about how our society deals with terminal illness and death.

Mutual fear and trust???
This T-shirt features the oversized eyes of my drawing Patina and a branch from “In the Brush” When I started drawing again after a 15 year hiatus, I liked making very exaggerated features – chiefly the eyes. You could say I went a little overboard with this one. (grin) I was listening to Anne Rice’s “Interview with a Vampire” when I drew these eyes. I can still hear the description of Claudia when I look at this face. AND, a mug with this design is available at Zazzle. / / Copy and paste this address: / http://www.zazzle.com/patina_and_the_brush_mug-16894548747378
This picture I made behind our lodge in Midsland. This is the village on the middle of the island. In the background you can see, when you look close enough, the lighthouse of west-terschelling. it’s about 8 kilometers away.

I was gifted with a trunk of poems by a cyber poet. Here is an excerpt from “Oracle” that I thought would work well with an excerpt of my pencil drawing Forty Seventh Fall messages / in the silence / pictures come light paths / sketched across / twilight / touches . . . Here’s what the entire drawing looks like: The archival matted and framed original is for sale. Please email me for details.
