Oil on stretched canvas 900×1300 mm Top 10 in a Challenge in the Group SA Rainbow Nation Dedicated to Roney, who lived with his little brother on the streets in São Paulo and was tragically murdered in 2008 at the age of 12. Their lives have been pretty much guided by fate and fortune, like most other kids on the streets of the big cities in the world. An unstable childhood due to their mother’s alcoholism, has led them to end up on the streets full-time. It is unacceptable that 21st century children are still at risk on the streets. Carf Brazil, was established by Gregory J. Smith in São Paulo in 1993, to benefit the street children of Brazil by defending their rights and offering them a dignified solution so that they could live and grow within a family-oriented context and healthy social environment. As Grerory quotes, Albert Einstein said: _The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. Sales from this painting will be donated to CARF who assists in the rehabilitation of street children in Diadema, São Paulo, Brazil. Read this poem Golden Boy written by Rhenastarr, who was inspired by this painting.

Imaginary reality in bite slices…here’s this train to Spain, and France, and Alps, and Melbourne
Written first on the seventh day of September, 2009, with the clear purpose of further confusing the left side of the brain. Confucius was quoted here for the first time on the 7th of September to have said: / Confusion is good when it leads to nowhere… but heart. Now, for those who reached this point of my writing, here’s a bit of musical reward for the pain of reading all above. / Oh Carlos, your heart is on your sleeve and the sleeve rubs so beautifully against my heart. / Imaginary reality in bite slices —- This writing was featured in All Out Emotion group on or about October 15th, 2009.
Please note that this is not intended as a criticism of the medical profession, but rather an observation about how our society deals with terminal illness and death.
Artists Note: Third and last in a series… our past experiences are always with us. One must find peace and wisdom with yesterday’s tragedies… remain determined to keep cherished memories close and nurtured within the soul… looking to the future while living fully in each precious moment. / The tree and forest represent Life, the girl is my Time Traveler, the horse is her Guide, the light is Faith and Hope. stock: horse girl

This is a serious piece, I felt compelled to write. Please take a few minutes to read it. I wrote this piece in memory of a gentleman named “Sergei Yatzenko” and all the other victims of The Dnepropetrovsk Massacre. / A friend told me this story and I was shocked to the core. It was a senseless massacre which took place between June and July 2007, in a town called Dnepropetrovsk in the Ukraine. Three teenagers went on a killing spree for a month. Armed with only a hammer, they killed, bludgeoned women, children, a homeless man and a man disabled from cancer (which he survived) riding his motorcycle. What truly shocked me was that his murder was taped by his killers and eventually made it to the internet. The gruesome way he was tortured and how the killers “had fun” killing him shocked me. I have not seen and DO NOT wish to see the video. I wrote this piece , as my way of paying tribute to Sergei and the other victims. May you Rest in Peace!!!
