Beautiful Blends

The Challenge

~ All Creatures Great and Small ~

This challenge is for all the Other Species on the Earth, whether fish, fowl or animal. NO PEOPLE, please! And no legendary beasts or fairie-beings… no pre-historic creatures… animals (or fish or fowl) must exist on Earth somewhere, today.

All entries must be Blends using two or more images combined. No single photos, please!

And no single photographs overlaid with texture (it is not a second element). Textures and effects are welcome but must be in addition to your photo-compilation, which in turn must feature separate elements.

We’re looking for “enchantment” … images we probably wouldn’t see in real life, but which illustrate the splendor and the magic of the natural world. They can be realistic, they can be very dreamlike. No pure abstracts, though… and nothing dark and dire. This challenge is for Mother Nature’s Beauty in its most exquisite sense! (Think what sort of image you might send to someone from another planet if you wanted to impress them with the natural glories of your home, the Earth!)

Since we’re focusing on other species sharing Spaceship Earth besides our own, all artwork must include at least one creature great or small, whether found on land or sea. Plants are species too but will not qualify alone!

As always, this group is all about the 2 B’s: Blended and Beautiful! So let’s see your most exquisite vision of the Natural World featuring one or many of its myriads of other residents!

Judging / Voting Criteria

You can vote for more than one: choose the work based on beauty, artistic excellence and how well you think it fits the challenge theme.

We will not tolerate soliciting of votes! Let the artwork win on merit, not popularity! Padding the ballot box is fraud. We WILL monitor the process.So play fair! Anyone caught soliciting via Facebook and/or Bubblemail will find their work removed AND, be deleted from the group.

Rewards & Prizes

Winner will receive a $20 voucher from the Bubble in addition to a winner’s banner and a Place of Honor on our Group Home Page.

Should be have a tie, both winners will be recognized.

If we have more than 30 entries we’ll award banners to the Top 10; if less than 30 we will recognize the Top 5.

Please be sure you’re entry’s in the group by voting time!

All entries not adhering to the focus of the challenge (or the group), or which are not accepted in the group by voting time, will be removed at the discretion of the hosts.
As always we will try to notify you in time to submit another entry, if possible.
