All About Your Best Work

TO ALL THE GROUP HOSTS

As some of you may have noticed; there seems to be some flaws in the challenge software.
RedBubble has been made aware of this and they are working on it, but until they fix it, we, your hosts, need your help. : )

There is often more than one piece of art that receives the same amount of votes as the Top 10 winner.
Until this is fixed, we have decided to ask for your help.

If you make the Top 10 and have the same amount of votes as the winner, please send us a bubble mail. You will both receive the same recognition; you will both get a banner and be included in the forums, messages, etc.
If the prize is to have your work featured for one week, you will both have works featured.

I think that all hosts from all groups should do this until the problems can be remedied.

Thanks for your help and understanding!

Crystal
We usually say how many votes the winner had and you can see how many yours has in your My Groups feed. It shows the piece of art you entered and the votes. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I host a group as well and saw it usually only showed the winner’s number of votes. No one has complained so far, so I guess it’s been all good.

Thanks Terri – have just run my first challenge in that widget thingy and I don’t like it but then I’m not a photographer
I cant see how the multiple vote tallies can be made but apparently there is the ability to do this [seems a lot of effort for not much reward]
but I haven’t known of this issue before
Is there a way for the host to know what the vote counts were?
If we are unsuspecting people to be conniving with clocking up extra votes to win a challenge then we shouldn’t blatantly trust them to be honest …. I would much prefer honesty and to trust people to be honest but it seems a contradiction of logic …..

But thank you for the heads up and the info!
Chookas! ♥
