The color of the hydrangea was so close to the color of the rose. I thought they complimented each other beautifully. A little digital work done to produce a more artistic image.
We thought this trip to the rose garden wouldn’t pan out. Lucky for us, the rain stopped and we not only were surrounded by roses…but rose with droplets!
Taken inside with natural light——as is.
From my garden, right after the rain and photoshop filter..
Shot of a red rose. Another new form of photography for me. I put some water on a mirror, placed the rose on top and then sprayed the rose. I switched the room lights off and took the shot using a single bounced & diffused flashgun. Only minor enhancement & cropping were done in Photoshop. Please comment on this, as I would like to know peoples opinions of it.

A surreal image of wild flowers including Queen Anne’s Lace, for a Midsummer night’s dream portrayal. / I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, / Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, / Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, / With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine. / /
