We are a group for good old-fashioned photographers, who see a coastal scene & just want to capture it as it is, with all the framing and exposure settings done in the camera and with no changes or modifications made to the photo later on. I guess you can say we’re looking for a very accurate representation of what you actually photographed. If that’s the sort of photos you take, we’d love to see your work displayed in this group. If you like to enhance photos and change things around and your photo ends up not being a true capture of what you photographed, then please don’t submit any of those photos to this group as they won’t be accepted.
We accept photos of scenery of coastal areas that are tidal. We aim to promote the boating lifestyle to the world, along with the magnificent scenery of beaches, bays, tidal waterways including creeks and rivers, boats, ships, cruise ships, ocean liners, jetties, ports, harbours, seascapes & headlands. Send in your photos of coastal Australia, New Zealand, Africa, America, Canada, Europe and Asia.
We are not a group for a photo of people walking along a beach.
We are a group for colour photos only, that are taken in good light, with the photo taken in good weather and your main subject is well lit. All colours have to remain natural.
2015 Calendars – a special section displaying our members calendars.
The featured photos shown below are just some of the outstanding works that our members have submitted to this group – thank you for keeping the quality so high.
