This group is dedicated to Africa and its islands.
The TYPES OF WORK accepted are unlimited as long as it relates to any of the 54 sovereign states, including Madagascar and various island groups such as Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles.
This includes photography, writing, paintings, drawings, sketches, digital creations such as images layered with textures and collages as well as clothing.

Rina Greef

I live in Jansenville in the Eastern Cape of South Africa with my husband, Basie, who is a farmer. We both are teachers as well. We have two grownup sons and two granddaughters. I love nature, and most of my subjects are our incredible wealth of fauna and flora in South Africa. I have used a Hewlett-Packard Photosmart C945 camera for many ‘happy snappy’-years! Was spoilt for my birthday with a CanonEOS 500D by my hubby and kids, and recently bought a Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro lens – still a lot to learn, but hopefully will get there! I also write poetry in Afrikaans (one of the eleven official languages in South Africa) and combine these poems with the photos I’ve taken.
