Ace Cafe
Group Rules:
Pull up a chair, have a cup of tea, (or coffee/beer) be inspired, get applauded, be shot down, have a laugh and grow.
- Each member may make two posts per seven days into the Ace Submissions forum.
- Each entry must have the name of the image, the date of submission and the name of the submitter in the title : eg Beautiful image – 15-01-2011 – John1
- Each entry must be posted as a large image in the forum – See here for instructions.
- Once an image is submitted to the Ace Submissions forum it will remain there for 7 days.
- No additional images may be posted to the thread in which the image is submitted (by the artist or the commenters) – if it is then the thread will be locked and removed to archive and the image may not be resubmitted.
- If the artist wishes to add a submitted image to the Display & Discuss during the 7 days to work on it based on feedback received they may do so but the original will remain in the Ace submission forums until the 7 days are up.
- At the end of 7 days the submission thread will be locked and moved to Ace archives. Once the thread is archived the image may not be resubmitted in its original form.
- Once the original thread has been archived then the edited version may be submitted to the Ace submissions forum as a new post. However, there must be noticeable changes to the image not just a slight tweak. Hosts reserve the right to reject an image if they believe it does not comply with this rule.
- All images submitted to the Ace Submissions forum require 10 Ace votes to attain Ace status. note , please refer to the added notes under the rules stated here. time dated sensitive
The hosts reserve the right to veto any picture which does not follow the “What makes an Ace” guidelines.

Voting & Commenting
- If when you are commenting on an image you believe it is of Ace quality please ensure that you place the word “Ace” at the start of your post.
- Please make your comments in a polite and constructive way. we implore you all to try to not give the same exact suggestions just given preciously as no one likes a string of echoing negatives to the same issue.
- Once the image has received the required number of votes then it will be marked as an Ace and the artist invited to add their image to the group.
- The hosts reserve the right to veto any picture which does not follow the “What makes an Ace” guidelines.
- By submitting an image to the Ace Submissions forum the member automatically agrees to abide by these rules. Any member that continuously breaks the rules may at the discretion of the hosts be suspended from the group.
We would like to take a moment to welcome all our new members to Ace Cafe….and to welcome the return of several familiar faces.
We are pleased with the level of participation, and the return of the feeling of camaradarie that is so unique to this group. Thank you…all of you…for making Ace Cafe the fantastic group that it is.
