It is a gift from the wonderful heavens above, I watched the heavens over the mighty Rio Grand in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA. The gift of rain in these high desert plains is a gift to the senses, our altitude brings us closer to the heavens, with livening the senses from the reverberation of sounds such as the patter of rain to the echos of thunder against the mountains, makes us appreciative of our location as well the Enchanted experience ! on the way walking home from a neighbor, the early days of my new Olympus E-500, standard 14-42 mm lens without additional lense filtration ! around 7:30 PM, the day will end such a beautiful sight. viewed as ” the Pearl within the clam,” This is the vision that I witnessed ! a cherished moment shared ! Please view large, it’s straight from the camera ! the smile is in there.

Found this rock in Barbados on the “Gun Hill” exit road. I tried to emphasize it with lighting effects. Taken with a Canon 50D w/28-135mm This was my first trip ever out of the USA, beside walking across the bridge to Canada at the Niagara Falls area. Pretty sad, I know… Barbados is a beautiful place and good people. You can almost feel the history of the area. The older buildings and rustic feel is enjoyable. I meet a couple people I would call my friends and saw alot of the real Barbados thanks to Andrew a guide and friend. I saw the struggle, Andrew took me into the local areas and introduced me to the people in his village/parish. I was cautious in one area but soon felt welcomed. But even with the struggle they still lived a joyful life. / It is a easy going life style where they work to live instead of living to work. As if they have much of a choice.. Opportunity is hard there, but also easier than other far away lands, and some areas in the States. There is plenty of fish to catch and some fruits for easy pickings. That is how I saw a few live. Some shacks are galvanize aluminum, some places are degrading fast and leaning. / There is also money in the area according to the beautiful houses scattered throughout the beautiful Island. / Look for more photos to come soon.. Been having problems uploading with the new up-loader. Tried IE and looks like it worked.
Spotted this really fascinating cloud when I was visiting Indian Canyons, just outside of Palm Springs. Really frightened me at first, but no one else was paying attention to it, so I decided it must be fairly normal for the area. It reminded me so much of the cloud formations you see in all the movies with space ships coming to earth!
