The artwork must be abstract in style yet also be recognizable as a real image.
Pure realism is not acceptable
Pure abstraction is not acceptable.
If your work shows no realism at all and is totally abstract please join the abstract Group
Surrealism is not acceptable. Please join a surrealist or dada group.
Naivism and Brut Art are not part of abstract realism.
The artwork must bring both abstraction and realism together to form an
image that the viewer recognizes, yet can see is abstract.
Paintings, drawings and photos are acceptable.
Digital work must be more than just effects.
REMEMBER NO PURE REALISM.
AND NO PURE ABSTRACTION.
IF IT ISN’T BOTH ABSTRACT AND ALSO REALISTIC IT DOESN’T FIT.
It must be somehow be between them.
Please do not put in more than two pieces a day, if you submit more than two works all will be rejected. Please be selective with the works you add and only submit your best pieces that conform to group rules. There is no limit to the number of works accepted. Resubmission of the same piece multiple times once it has been rejected will result in removal from the group. Taking out a pieces and resubmitting multiple times will result in it being judged more critically each time.
