A Street Story - Two uploads a day

Group Rules:

Guidelines:

1. Two uploads a day, on approval – please only submit your best work.
2. Camera, settings and location (optional) in the description.
3. Colour, sepia and b/w images accepted
4. Images of protests, homelessness, poverty accepted, on the proviso they are not demeaning or derogatory
to the person or persons – host discretion applies.
5. We will decline a shot if it is poorly focused, people are too far away/unrecognisable, or if we are looking at the backs of people’s heads – host discretion applies.
6. Please only submit your original work – do not submit anything that does not belong to you, has been taken off the internet, your television screen, or is a photo of a photo
7. Please keep editing to a minimum. We want work that is as natural as possible.

Acceptable post-ed:

Basic cropping, contrast and brightness adjustments are fine. Subtle toning allowed, but must be complementary to the image. Keep it simple and real.
We want to see your skill with a camera and it’s settings, rather than the use of fancy post-ed sliders and buttons

If your hosts suspect that extra ‘enhancements’ like distracting layers and textures have been added in post-ed, the image will be declined – host discretion applies.

Not accepted:

♦ No composite images, no borders, no distracting textures or layers, no HDR
♦ No applied text, inclusive of artist signatures
♦ No images of: sports, performers (parades, musicians, buskers, etc), family, friends, or pet/wild animals
♦ No nude, pornographic, NSFW, or offensive material of any kind, inclusive of horse racing, rodeo (bronc/bull riding) and circus animal images

PLEASE respect your hosts – we’re volunteers
