This group is looking for quality black & white photos with a splash of selective colouring

According to Wikipedia, “Selective color is a post-processing technique where most of a photo is converted to black and white, but some parts are left in color.”

The key element is that it is a photo that has been converted to black & white with only a portion (usually a small portion) retaining colour. This manipulation of a photo is done in a photo editing software such as PhotoShop, PhotoShop Elements, PaintShop Pro, Gimp, etc.

It would be nice if a brief outline of the work done to achieve your artwork was included in the description. This is not mandatory. But to do so would be helpful and educational to others.

If the group activity will support it, we will do a monthly challenge. The winner of the monthly challenge will also become a featured member. If you want your photo featured, your photo must be entered into the group. If you want a chance at the featured member spot you will have to play in the challenges. Winners will get a banner and the photo as the group avatar for the month.
