The Challenge

This is a special event challenge. Opening on Australia Day for only 3 days, you will need to submit the photo that best captures the essence of Australia. Is it the beach? The bush? Meat Pies? Kangaroos? Holden cars? Barbecues? Is it grubby kids in thongs or well-groomed 30-somethings sipping cappucinos on the cafe strip?

Judging / Voting Criteria

When voting, consider:
1. Creativity. How much imagination did this photo take?
2. Technical merit. Focus? Exposure? Composition?
3. Meeting the challenge. Does the photo capture the theme?

Rewards & Prizes

You will win the respect and admiration of all your peers. Your photo will also be used for the challenge avatar for the 2010 Australia Day challenge.
