Script challenge – ground transportation prior to 1950
We’re looking for the manufacturer’s name in script. This must be a detachable piece of metalwork, and not included in a logo like the Ford blue oval. In early cars script was placed on the grille, but as grilles shriveled in size, script moved to the sides and rear of cars.
Remember, to be considered for this challenge, the script must be the manufacturer’s name (Ford, Oldsmobile, Overland, etc.), not the model name (for example “Deluxe”), and it must be detachable as opposed to embossed, stamped or painted.
Have fun and on this be as creative as you like!!!

Something you should know: Hosts are not allowed to be judges. The winners are chosen by voting and we have no control over the counting of votes. Ties are taken care of by redbubble.
Our personal philosophy is that we, as hosts, are here to encourage you, so we won’t be featuring any of our own work or entering it in challenges. You will see our “entries” as examples for each challenge, so we’ll be participating that way.
