Okay, so this is “Lil’ Bits” as we sometimes call him, but he has had so many different names it’s hard to keep track. I guess that name just stuck, although he’s not so little anymore. :) (Taken in natural sunlight)

Canon 1D Mk.II-N Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS On assignment for my college’s newspaper the “Valley Forge” on August 29, 2009. This picture is something every sports photographer looks for and is a dream shot. There arn’t many people on here who understand how hard this is to get. I fired 8 shots a second to get this with my Mk.II-N. Out of all 8 shots, there was only one in the air, this. The picture shows how hard it is to capture a moving target, especially while mid-air and be able to freeze the shot forever. As a professional sports photographer it’s my 2nd best. The first I cannot use because it is copyrighted to the “Rockford Register Star” newspaper. But, I still love this picture.
This is my take on the classic “message in a bottle” piece. I endeavored to create a vintage and somewhat lonely port-town feel. This is one of my favorite works, and it was really enjoyable setting up this scene. It was taken on: October 10th 2009 / It was taken with: Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
Halloween. Love the makeup but wouldnt wear it on a daily basis =P

Canon 1D Mk.II-N Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS / Canon 1.4X extender @ f/5.6 It’s blurry on the sides because I was shooting through weeds. But the butterlfy is tack sharp! THIS PROVES you DO NOT need a macro lens to get something of this size. Was walking through rock cut and saw this gorgeous butterfly.. Monarch.. right? But I love this picture.. Beautiful colors.
OK, the reason I put is up is so that I can get all your input. Thinking about using this for my business card. Yes? No? Change something on it? Leave it as it is?
if only we solve our problems (wars) with a simple pokemon battle or something
This is my first ever use of pastels.
