hmm.. being it will be November (month of Scorpio) and just soon after Halloween, i cannot resist than to suggest.. Dark, Scarry & Twisted Fractals, which would nearly be the opposite of last theme (no black background).. |

This might be silly and not relevant to the group, you guys can decide. But what about finding REAL fractals in nature, and posting some photos of them too? |

Thanks for the various ideas. About natural fractals : I think nothing from the guidelines prevents it. I saw a couple photographs like this on RB before. It would be a great theme, but I guess we’ve got to save it for later too, as people might not have much art like that to submit. So that leads to another idea… how about announcing themes several months in advance ? I think we could already fill the calendar until next year (leaving some free gaps in between of course). Er…. that might sound silly (or at least not very original as they appear all around), but how about a Christmas fractal theme ? |

I think several months is good, that’ll give people time to work on things specifically for the theme rather than seeing what they’ve got that might fit. I’d almost suggest making it a “challenge” but that implies having to judge the submissions and to find a winner. A Christmas theme certainly is relevant right now! And hey, I’ve already posted my Christmas fractal… mm, will have to do more… |

Here are a few ideas some of which have already been shared. Various seasons, holiday themes. Nature Emotions Color themes Landscapes Faces Collages, which required more than one program to create it. I really like the idea of using the dictionary, lol, as it will provoke my mind at least to try and create something to match the word. And give an unlimited amount of themes persay, lol. |

I like the idea of emotions, there are so many different ones to choose from, love, jelousy, happiness and sadness just to name a few :) |
