Here is a few little things which we should all abide by:
1. The obvious ‘no digital’ rule… Images which have been scanned from the original film/print and digitally corrected (contrast/brightness/etc, but nothing more) are acceptable. Also make sure you comply with RedBubble’s rules and guidelines. It would also be appreciated if the subject of journal entries focused on film in one form or another.
2. A limit of 10 works and one journal at any one time, also please try to limit the amount of uploads per day to a maximum of three (or at least space them out, giving others the opportunity to post).
3. Please try and keep it friendly… Constructive criticism is encouraged, but it is recommended this be done through Bubblemail.
4. If we come across a number of images by one artist in a row (e.g, 10), I may remove a few simply to increase variety on a page.
5. You must add you camera, film and settings (if you can remember) to the image description, this is really valuable to other members.
6. You must use the safe filter if the photo contains a high level of nudity or violence. We are not prudes, but you must appreciate than many different folk are members of this group.
7. Journals must be relevant and specific to Film photography, not used as opportunities to promote non film related pursuits. P L E A S E do not add journals to the group thanking for being featued or advising of a sale, etc.
If anyone disagrees with these, or have rejected a film piece which you can prove (in any way possible) is genuine, feel free to a host, either via Bubblemail or comment here.
Remember this is a group which is for both showing off your own work and helping others improve… Hopefully we’ll all get a little better.
