I don’t know if anyone else has seen these photos, but they really bother me. They are of groups of horses standing by a fence and they are all thin. Ribs and hips showing. They are the photographer’s horses, as he states it in his description. There are three photos. Anyone else noticed?

I don’t know who you are talking about, but I do know from personal experience not to be to hasty in judgements. I have a mare, Tilly who is in her 20s, though I feed her extra suppliments, hay and shes out in a good pasture she is still thin after a year of owning her, though she looks alot better.
Drought was what caused Tillys owners, friends of mine, to sell her, and she was extremly thin. They definatly do not abuse their horses, it really hurt them to part with Tilly.

Prehaps it was the season or something else like drought affecting their weight?

Don’t get me wrong, I am totally against any sort of animal cruelety.
