This is my interpretation of the first chorus of Procession (see below)...I painted it in a very linear style of the lyrics, using colours for skies and sea that reflect the searing heat of the sun… / If you are familiar with the song you know that this is the fabulous Moody Blues at their best…the song is called “One More Time to Live” and “Procession” is the chorus which is sometimes sung separately…. in it the singer broods over the changes in the world and how time has destroyed so much…”one more time to live and I have made it mine, leave the wise to write for they write worldly rhymes, and he who wants to fight, begins the end of time, but in the end he says “I have riches more than these”...something we all have to remember... This song popped into my head this morning and I couldn’t rest until I did something with it. Pretty much took me 9 1/2 hrs. so no housework got done, although I did take a break to go downtown for a coffee. Now, that’s how all my days should go! Cameras: Canon PowerShot A530 / Canon PowerShot S5IS / Programmes: Picasa 3 / The Print Shop 22 / Photoshop 7 / PhotoImpact X3 / This is a collage of the photo’s I used for this submission. American Robin or Turdus migratorius. American Robins are song birds belonging to the Thrush family of birds. Robins have a large, round body, long legs, and fairly long tail. The robin feeds on worms, beetle grubs, catepillars and grasshoppers. They feed on fruit and berries in the winter when the ground is frozen. The musical song of the American Robin is a familiar sound of spring. It’s a string of 10 or so clear whistles assembled from a few often-repeated syllables, and often described as “cheerily, cheer up, cheer up, cheerily, cheer up”. The syllables rise and fall in pitch but are delivered at a steady rhythm, with a pause before the bird begins singing again. At dawn, the song is more rapid. The Robin is usually the first bird to sing very early in the morning. Visit this link to hear their various songs at dawn and throughout the day: Typical Voice This was taken a few days ago in the ice storm that hit the mid-south. This image reminds me not to worry because God cares for me. The bird is so tiny amongst the frozen branches and buds. Yet, he does not worry. God will provide for him even in the storm. “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:25-34

For most of us coming to Redbubble was not our first art community we frequented. Most of us have found the ‘Bubble’ to be far better than other art community sites that we used to frequent. This group has been set up for those that used to call EyeFetch home or are looking for former EF’ers because you lost touch with them after they left or you left. Stop in get reconnected with people you knew and cared about, check out their new work here on the Bubble.
Please keep things positive and cheerful. The Bubble has shown that keeping a professional and positive attitude can work in the cyber art community.
