An old idea i had before i got photoshop was to create a blending of two portraits, hope you like the finished result.
Graphite pencil on cartridge paper 80gsm.
Capturing a passing emotion with chalk pastel and pencil on watercolor paper using a limited palette of blue, grey, black, and white. The strength and passion of the Divine Feminine.

I’ve had a horrible day!!! I feel like screaming and crying :-( i cant get the focus right on my 400d and im so mad that i think i may have gotten a bit of a bad lens with the kit – something which apparently can happen quite a lot!!!!! But to save the day is this little lady – I am so glad I found her she has cheered me up no end!!! /
A while ago I drew a WPC (Woman Police occifer) climbing over a wall in a tight skirt. There’s a follow up version of that one too but keeping with the theme of a sexy WPC (yes, I know how politically incorrect that term is) I thought I’d do another one only this time in less that a even warm pursuit. This is another of my tribute drawings of those Golden age artists. This time I chose Elvgren, the master of them, all in my opinion. Hope you like this sweetheart having a little personal “incident” of her own. Biker

Spiders seem to be everywhere around here; here is my home in Tukwila, WA (USA), about ten minutes south of Seattle. This one lives in my shed, and from the perfect web (s)he spun, (s)he watches my home and yard. I find spiders fascinating creatures and artists in their own right; their webs are instinctively symmetrical. These shiny specimens of handiwork and beauty are lethal as well, perhaps the perfect combination? A recent portrait of my daughter, 8 years old. In this picture I was more interested by the volumes than by the texture. It was a sunny day, and I put a big white umbrella to soften the hard sunlight. A very simple lighting equipment in fact. This beautiful child was playing with my daughter. “May I make a picture with you ?” I asked. She did’nt answer, but only stopped playing with her balloon and gave me that beautiful glance.
