A photo taken from the car park at Corfe. The day itself was quite grey and flat, but bringing this photo into Black and White created an entirely new mood. Corfe Castle is in the South East of Dorset in England.

I have cropped it down vertically – there is still a full 360 horizontal view, and resized from the origial 20000×10000 for upload. Lower Bindon, Dorset, England The southern slopes of Bindon Hill, near Lulworth. Bindon Hill is an extensive Iron Age earthwork enclosing an area of approximately 110 hectares. There is no evidence of settlement in the interior, which would suggest it was primarily an enclosed pasture for domesticated animals, rather than a strategic tribal hill fort. This shot looks eastwards across Mupe Bay towards Worbarrow Tout and Gad Cliff (top left). Beyond lie Kimmeridge and St Aldhelm’s Head. Date: 27th September 2009

Ringstead Bay, Dorset… England… / Around 700 yards of shingle beach with uncovered sand once the tide goes out. There are also rock pools at the western end and an offshore reef that is uncovered by the tide. The beach is overlooked by unspoilt farmland and cliffs. Mudeford Spit is a sandbank bordered on one side by Christchurch Bay and the Solent, and on the other side by Christchurch Harbour. There are about 300 beach huts situated on the sandbank, but they are unique because it is possible to sleep in them overnight, from March to November. Hence a special community has grown up. It is like going back in time, and has its own special magic….
